Here’s your chance to get more HD DVDs than just that sampler that came with the player. Amazon’s giving them away, at least as long as you’re buying one. There’s actually a pretty good selection – Space Cowboys and The Scooby Doo Movie don’t exactly pique my interest, but there’s a ton of other good stuff: Some fantastic westerns (Unforgiven and The Searchers), classic action (Lethal Weapon and Enter the Dragon), some great new ones (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Departed), and a bunch of Steve McQueen titles for some reason. Not that I’m complaining, that guy’s my hero – but I never thought of the Steve as a hi-def guy.
