A new “plug-in” from hachu lets you download files straight to your unlocked iPhone. This lets you download zip and tar files as well as save MP3 files to the internal memory. So what does that get you? Not much, but thanks to Erica Sadun, you can now use the SendFile application to send files from the Downloads folder in your iPhone, creating a fairly cool little way to download a file on the run and keep it on the iPhone until you’re ready to drop it onto another machine.
