    Need a new watch and have about $175 lying about? Take a look at Steel Cake. These things are designed by two Pratt graduates and the company is based in Brooklyn, so you know you’re getting good old American design know-how with your watch. The chrono, pictured here, looks pretty cool, and they also have an oversized military piece and something called the Tank which looks like a tank tread.

    It’s very rare to see watch design coming out of the U.S. anymore, so be a patriot and send these guys some money.
