Fujitsu announced today that a solid performing, highly reliable and inexpensive laptop is available to the masses, the LifeBook V1010. How inexpensive is it? It starts at $799 and comes packed with a 15.4-inch wide Cystal View high-contrast ratio display, 120GB HDD, Atheros Super AG® wireless LAN, dual-layer multi-format DVD writer and a spill-resistant keyboard. What’s more appealing is the choice between Vista Business and XP Pro as well as the choice an Intel Core 2 Duo Porocessor and Intel Pentium Dual Core. The Vista OS, 2GB of RAM and Core 2 Duo processor will set you back an extra $100, though.
