Fox replaces NBC in the iTunes lineup, only its shows will be free. Sorta. Starting next week, Fox will offer—completely free to download—the season premier episodes of “Prison Break” and “K-Ville,” among other Fox hits. Conventional wisdom says that Fox wants to expose as many of its shows as possible to an iPod-totting public—a public that, maybe, doesn’t watch as much TV on the TV as it used to. (I’m one of those people, by the way.) It’s nothing more than a form of advertising.

Me? I’m still a little gun shy about buying TV shows. It seems too weird to me. Oh, and bring back Futurama.
