ViewSonic showcased a few displays last night at Pepcom that might tickle your fancy. The widescreen LCD lineup of monitors is quite the visual treat in two 19- and one 22-inch version. The VX1940w and VX2240w boast contrast ratios of up to 4000:1 and a whopping response time of 2ms and 300 nits of brightness. Both 19- and 22-inch displays feature 1680×1050 high resolution making the 19-inch monitor the first widescreen display to offer HD resolution. The VX1932wm can also say it’s quick with 2ms response time, 1440×900, 2000:1 ratio and 300 nits of brightness. All three support VGA, DVI and they’re Windows Vista Premium Certified.
The VX1932wm will be available next month for $249, while the VX1840w and VX2240w will hit the streets in November for $249 and $349 respectively.
I’m not done, yet.
Update: The pictures weren’t matching up with the right displays. Everything is fixed now and I’ve even added one of the upcoming LCD HDTV.
The VA series just added four new options with the widescreen 19-inch VA1926w, 20-inch VA2026w and 22-inch VA2226w displays. If you’re not into widescreen displays then the 19-inch VA926 is more up your alley with a traditional 4:3 size. Each display offers a 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 300 nits of brightness, and 5ms response time. Both DVI and VGA are supported.
The VA926 and its 1280×1024 resolution is priced at $259. The widescreen models are priced at $229, $249 and $279 according to size. All models are also TCO and Energy Star compliant.
The Diamani DUO series was also unveiled and the widescreen HD LCD TV doubles as a desktop display, which comes in 19- and 22-inch displays. The Diamani DUO is great for entertainment applications and features 5ms response time and a dynamic contrast ratio of 2400:1. Since it’s a PC/TV you’re privy to six inputs that include HDMI and VGA. The 19-inch NX1932w has a native resolution of 1440×900 while the NX2232w is 1680×1050. They’re available now for $349 and $399 respectively.
