Kensington Slims Down Peripherals

Thin certainly is in these days. It’s not like the old days where a few curves were hot and wanted, but it’s the way of the world and the plump mice and keyboards are suffering for it. Kensington is capitalizing on the endemic with the introduction of the SlimBlade line of hardware targeted towards those on the go.

The line of mice are said to be up to 35 percent slimmer than the rest of the market. The Presenter mouse is not only a mouse, but also a laser pointer with four-way tilt scroll, six months of battery life and it runs on 2.4Ghz for some Wi-Fi goodness. It retails for $49.99. The Media mouse doubles as your media controller with intuitive 360 degree scrolling. It’s only $59.99. The Presenter Media mouse combines the best of both worlds for a mere $79.99. The SlimBlade Trackball mouse connects via Bluetooth and it can work motion free or switch back to a traditional mouse with the click of a button. It also has a ‘fuel gauge’, which I’m unfamiliar with, but I’m assuming it’s a battery meter or something. It retails for $99.99.

And last but certainly not least is the SlimBlade Media Notebook set that allows you to modify the arrangement of your keyboard, mouse and keypad. There’s also a media remote that attaches itself via magnet. The notebook set is $129.99 and the remote is $19.99.
