Cubic Mobile: Roaming for Skype Rates

Cubic Mobile has just launched two new phones under the Cubic Mobile moniker. They use MaxRoam SIM cards which allow you to add local phone numbers to your personal account along with a “flat rate” calling plan wherever you are. Say, for example, you’re in the UK and you fly to San Francisco. You buy a local SF number and your friends call you on the SF number, pay a local rate, and you pay a UK rate. Very sneaky stuff.
