Fight! Nokia has asked the US International Trade Commission to deny entry of Qualcomm chipsets while the two are fighting it out in court over five patents that Qualcomm is supposedly infringing upon.
The patents in question relate to technologies that improve the performance and efficiency of wireless communication devices as well as enabling lower manufacturing costs, smaller product size and increased battery life.
But Qualcomm isn’t the only pilfering party in this squabble; Nokia is using Qualcomm patents for high-speed 3G wireless technologies. It’s like your kid sibling playing a game of copycat when you just want to slap the crap out of them. Have a beer and get over it, guys.
