According to a new GfK NOP survey commissioned by Pontis there is a deep level of dissatisfaction amongst the public with the way that mobile service providers are marketing their voice and data services. 64 percent of people who viewed mobile ads reported being annoyed, and 70 percent consider the marketing offers not to be relevant at how. What is really surprising is that a full 11 percent actually admitted to purchasing an item or signed up for a promotion as a result of an online promotion or offer from their mobile service provider! Say it isn’t so, with results like that others might follow suit!
