According to the Wall Street Journal, soon to be improved by Rupert Murdoch, BlackBerry-toting business users increasingly want to play video games on their precious device. They want to have the highest score in the office and the bragging rights that come with it. Companies like EA—loathed by “real” gamers—and Gameloft have started targeting the BlackBerry as the “go-to” gaming device, primarily because all those professionals can afford to throw a few dollars trying out EA Presents Sports Fun.
In short, business users are going to be the driving force behind mobile gaming, not traditional gamers… probably because we know what is and what isn’t absolute garbage.
