Sony is launching three A/V receivers today as part of its “Elevated Standard” (ES) line of premium gear.
All three models feature iPod integration and Sony’s Digital Media Port, which allows for the addition of optional accessories like a Bluetooth receiver, a Wi-Fi adapter, or an audio dock for use with Sony’s Network Walkman line.
Blu-ray compatibility is present and the receivers are capable of handling 1080/60p and 24p video from other sources. They’ll also be able to upscale non-HD content up to 1080p using the HDMI connection.
The STR-DA3300ES will be available in August for $1,000, the STR-DA5300ES drops in September for $1,700, and the STR-DA4300ES is due in October for $1,300.
