With the world premiere of The Simpsons Movie less than a week away, EA Mobile has announced The Simpsons: Minutes To Meltdown game for your mobile phone. Tag along with Homer as he races through Springfield to shut down the nuclear reactor before it obliterates the town. Along the way you’ll get to interact with fellow Springfieldians like Apu, Chief Wiggum and others. It’s available for download now from major North American and European wireless providers and online at Jamster with varying prices from $6.99 to $7.49.

On a side note I’d like to relay my disgust that the world premiere will not take place in my beloved home state of Oregon and Matt Groening’s hometown of Springfield. I realize that in the show Springfield is ambiguous to any one state, but come on!
