SlingBox just launched the SlingLink TURBO 1 ($99.99) and SlingLink TURBO 4 ($149.99) for home users. These powerline routers allow you to connect to your SlingBox over your home’s powerlines and not wirelessly or through a wireless or wired bridge. You can get similar gear for about the same price and, in my experience, powerline hasn’t matched a good old fashioned wireless or wired connection. However, if you love your SlingGear and want to spend some SlingCash, you’ve got a new object of affection.

As the names suggest, the TURBO 1 has one port while the TURBO 4 has four ports.
