Party over at French MVNO

ten.jpgAnd you thought things looked bad for Amp’d Mobile! Well, French MVNO Ten Mobile is out of cash and accordingly to rumors was last seen holding a sign on the French highways that read “fournira le service mobile pour la nourriture” (“will provide mobile service for food”).

OK, so it isn’t that bad, but the company, which has about 15,000 customers, has burnt through about 10 million euros (US $13.36 million) in the past year and is now reportedly looking for additional funding reports mocoNews. Ten Mobile had provided its customers with IP data services and Internet features including instant messenger, but other carriers began to support these services making Ten’s offerings a bit less unique.
