It doesn’t take much to sell a few papers or get a few hundred hits on yer blog. Just write a story about the iPhone and put it out for all to read. The real trick, however, is how to write about the iPhone without knowing what it does, how it works, or even who has one. Luckily, Brier Dudley tracked down Glenn Lurie of AT&T and asked him about the iPhone. The resulting interview, full of hemming and hawing by Lurie, only adds to the fascinating cannon of material that is termed “iPhone Postulation” by the media elites. Thrill as Lurie says very little! Become excited as we learn that Lurie is from Portland! Wonder if the iPhone is really going to disappoint us all!
