metaldet528984full.jpgNow this is a cool idea. A UK inventor, John Comey, has created a Roomba-esque metal detector that can scan the ground for metal and/or mines. The device cost him $3,800 to design and build. Apparently he’s brought up quite a few bits of trash/coins with his super robot. Anyone done anything super hot with their Roomba? Mine got sick and is now lying, dead, in the basement, and I’m thinking of repairing it and making it into a drink carrier.
