One of the blogs I read religiously is Richard MacManus’ ReadWriteWeb. It has been a source of quality anaylsis and thinking on the new web for years, and has been around far longer than TechCrunch. That’s why I’m very happy to see RWW launch a new blog called Last100, to be edited by veteran writer Steve O’Hear. O’Hear will continue to write his ZDnet blog on the social web while taking on this new role. He also co-produced a movie on silicon valley that we wrote about late last year.

Last100 looks to be at least a little bit similar to GigaOm’s NewTeeVee: it will cover new consumer products and services that are becoming more popular as broadband penetration rates increase. Welcome to the blogosphere, Last100. :-)
