Yup, perhaps in a move to allay content providers’ fears or perhaps in a move to make more money, Sling Media also announced that it’s considering showing ads on its upcoming Clip and Sling service. (Clip and Sling lets you take clips of TV shows and sling ’em to your compatible devices.) I wonder how showing ads will affect Sling Media’s relationship with the online community, especially since it’s appears to be pretty well respected. Start showing ads and users may just go elsewhere to get their daily fix of Hit TV Show.
