Look, we tried to offer some advice on how to stay fit and not end up looking like a land monster. But since kids are so hell bent on being fat nowadays, it’s time for parents to cut off access to sugary snacks once and for all. Horizon’s OneSource program manages what schoolchildren eat at lunch, with a fully computerized system that educators and lunch ladies alike can use to give kids healthy foods.

The Healthy Vending systems let parents get even more hands-on with nutrition, by letting them use a computer to log onto their child’s account to see what kind of vending machine snacks they’ve purchased and how many. So if little Johnny thinks he’s getting away with an extra Twinkie or HoHo, he’s in for a surprise.

Or you could just teach your kids some discipline, I suppose.
