Embed This Video Player From mywaves….NOW!

grabberraster-0000.jpgSorry to get so shouty first thing in the morning, but the coffee’s kicking in. So awhile back we mentioned a video service called mywaves that’s basically a large library of video clips scaled down to view on mobile devices. Today, it’s added the availability of an embedded video player you can drop into your MySpace, Xanga, Friendster, blog or Web site to show your visitors your favorite videos—whether they’re created by you or others from the site. But the fun doesn’t stop there.

The player can handle both Web-to-mobile and mobile-to-Web requests. Shoot some video with your phone and you can send it directly to the embedded player (much like JuiceCaster). However, a SND2MBL button on the player allows anybody visiting your site to send any of your clips to their phone.

Last week, the company also announced a partnership with Nettwerk Music Group giving mywaves users access to video content from artist roster including Avril Lavigne, Barenaked Ladies, Jars of Clay and The Format (that released one of my favorite albums from 2006, Dog Problems). And again, the SND2MBL means you can send the clips directly to your phone with one click.
