Before you go calling Photoshop and all that jazz, readers should note that the box contains a new model number for the device: 98004. With the 20GB PS3 laid to rest and the 60GB PS3 as the only lone version available currently, it makes sense for Sony to do a more beefed up model for those using their PS3 for multimedia.
No word yet on when it’ll hit stores, but if it’s already boxed, etc., I’d say by summer’s end.
