Are you ready…for the world’s smallest PC motherboard?! VIA has announced the VT6047 Pico-ITX full-featured world’s smallest x86 motherboard.

The Pico-ITX is a mere 10cm x 7.2cm, which is significantly smaller than its predecessor that was 17cm x 17cm. VIA is known for its expertise and innovation at the silicon level because of the advances in power management, thermal efficiency and feature amalgamation. As always, the Pico-ITX will work at its full potential when coupled with other VIA products such as the C7 processor or fanless Eden processor. No word on price or launch date, but we’ll keep you posted.
