Sony-Ericsson Launches First 3G Phone for US-and-A

We’ve covered tech paint before, but this is an interesting idea. If it does indeed work, this special stuff helps keep your WiFi inside your home. It essentially acts as tinfoil, blocking the radio waves that WiFi travels on, meaning that if you use this on your exterior walls, snooping neighbors won’t have access to your base station.

Sadly, it’s not smart; it can’t intelligently sort out which waves to block, so your cellphone at home would be useless. We could see this being handy in movie theaters, however, as a way to make that one dude who ALWAYS thinks it’s OK to talk on his phone during the movie STFU.
