Nike plans to expand its Nike+ iPod nano workout system to all of its running shoes by the end of the year. The AP just interviewed one of the company’s execs where he wouldn’t commit to a specific date or anything, since that’d be convenient and useful.

Right now, the system only works with a handful of Nike’s running shoes, including the Air Equalon+. (Any pair of shoes with a “+” in the name indicates Nike+ compatibility.) If you can think of a better way to motivate yourself to run other than listening to hours upon hours of Ferry Corsten you deserve a copy of Black Hat.
