Proporta Releases Wireless FM Stereo Transmitter

Thursday, March 22nd, 2007

I don’t own a car anymore and rarely drive, but when I do, I usually just listen to NPR because I don’t have an iTrip/FM Transmitter for my iPod. But there’s only so much Fresh Air and Marketplace a man can take. So I’m thinking about picking up one of Proporta’s new Wireless FM Transmitters. You just set your radio station, plug it into any device with a headphones-jack and you’re good to go.

It should also be noted that this device greatly resembles an old-school NES controller. That coupled with easy operation makes this a winner in my book. It doesn’t ship until April 4th though, so you’ll have to wait a few weeks before you can snag one. It’ll set you back only $25 too, making it one of the cheapest wireless FM transmitters on the market.
