I’ve never really understood the inner-workings of how video games work. I have a general grasp, but not enough to explain it to someone who wants to know everything about it. I’m not sure a lot of people can really explain it in a way that a child could understand either, but Understanding Games does a bang-up job of covering the main points via an interactive-video.
