Recently, I reported that Europeans would not be getting a PS2 Emotion Engine chip inside their PS3s thanks to Sony trying to cut costs. Now that Sony has pissed off a bunch of Europeans, it’s now launching a PR campaign to try to rectify the situation to the best of its ability.
A list that shows which PS2 games will be compatible has been released on the web for all to see. The official URL is http://faq.eu.playstation.com/bc and judging by a quick glance at the UK’s website, most of the awesome Playstation 2 games are not supported. Fantastic Sony. Way to add fuel to the fire when you were originally trying to extinguish it.
