I completely forgot Sony was still in the MP3 market! What with all the iPod, Zune, Sansa and Zen marketing blitzes going on all around Sony keeps chuggin’ away nice and quiet. I’m not sure what or who Gachapin is but I think it’s some sort of buck toothed caterpillar. Maybe?

The special edition lime green E series walkman comes in 512MB and 1GB flavors. It also comes with a Gachapin shaped cloth case and carrying pouch. The very limited run of 200 will exclusively be available in Japan for $135 (1GB) and $110 (512MB).
