Microsoft Raising Army of Killer Robots, With Your Help

It was only a matter of time, really, until Microsoft started development on its army of robots to rule the Earth. In the guise of the Microsoft Robotics Studio, Redmond aims to dominate the world by 2012. The idea behind the robotics studio is that any hobbyist can build any robot from popular off-the-shelf robotics kits and control said mechanoids with the studio. One set of objects and commands for multiple robots. And the software is free.

It all sounds fantastic, right? Let’s dig deeper.

This all is, of course, just a Trojan horse. When the time comes, and millions of people are using this free software to control their robots, Microsoft will flip the switch, putting them all under the control of Steve Ballmer and his evil, twisted henchmen. Then we’re at the mercy of an army of plastic and metal automatons, and life as we know it will cease to exist.

I hope Dr. Evil is taking notes.
