Announced yesterday, Globalstar’s GSP-1700 is the world’s smallest satellite phone. Manufactured by Qualcomm is primed to work in more than 120 countries and six continents, but weights in at approximately 7.1 ounces or 203 grams is about 45 percent smaller than Globalstar’s other sat phones. Plus, it comes in three colors and the unsightly antenna can be disconnected when not in use.
