SAGEM my700X With MegaSIM Can Pack Up To 3GB Of Flash

Thursday, November 9th, 2006

For mobiles to really take off as combo music players and phones two things need to happen: battery life must improve and storage capacities must get larger. The SAGEM my700X, which has been creeping around the Web since earlier this year, is at least tackling one of these by using msystems’ MegaSIM. The slot/card can pack up to 1GB of secure, in-phone storage and can be accompanied by a miniSD card for holding up to another 2GB of flash memory.
