Strangely enough, this is the first chance I’ve gotten to see Philips amBX system, an add-on that creates ambient environments for PC gaming. It consists of three lights, two on the side and one “splash light” on the back of the laptop/PC. Then there are two fans and a rumble strip on the keyboard. The result is a refreshing blast of fresh air when you’re flying around in space or a spooky glow depending on the action on the screen. The set-up we saw was a bit washed out simply because the environment wasn’t quite right, but it’s definitely something to think about if you dig getting blown while gaming.
