Like an actual Lamborghini, the Asus Lamborghini VX1 laptop is flashy and expensive. On the outside, the Lamborghini VX1 features a sleek, angular, yellow lid with the official Lamborghini logo in the middle. The laptop also comes with a suede-trimmed black carrying case, talk about flashy! Too bad there’s nothing impressive on the inside. The VX1 sports a 2GHz Intel Core Duo processor, 2GB of RAM, 160GB HD, GeForce Go 7400VX and weighs in at 5.6 pounds. The VX1 also has a 15-inch monitor, with glossy coating for your viewing pleasure, and if you find any dead pixels on the monitor during the first 30 days after purchase, Asus will replace your laptop for free.

Laptop Magazine stated that the laptop’s black keyboard performed well, but the trackpad’s buttons were a bit too stiff. The speakers on the VX1 were also reported to not be up to par with the rest of the laptop. As for everyday use, the VX1 will get the job done, but for anything else, the laptop won’t do much good. Even with the GeForce Go 7400VX (which is a 128MB card), your games will have to run at low-res if you don’t want to run into any problems. The Lamborghini VX1 will cost you $2799, which is expensive considering its specs, but what you’re really paying for is the little Lamborghini VX1 logo on the outside of the laptop.
