Buffalo Technology Goes Both Ways With DriveStation Combo

ATI Launches Midrange Radeon X1650 XT

Nothing groundbreaking here, but Buffalo Technology has added a handful of USB 2.0/FireWire combo external hard drives to its DriveStation lineup. It does the usual good stuff Buffalo drives do (Windows/Mac support, plug-and-play, driver-free installation, fanless, silent operation) and includes Memeo AutoBackup and the company’s own Windows SecureLockWare software that does the whole encryption thing, so if the drive gets snatched, your data’s safe from prying eyes.

You’ll be able to pick up the DriveStation Combo USB 2.0/FireWire External Hard Drives in 250GB ($179), 320GB ($199), 500GB ($289) and 750GB ($579) sizes.
