Just goes to show you, just because you haven’t seen a product from a company in awhile, doesn’t mean it’s disappeared forever. I/OMagic, makers of miscellaneous storage-related products, launched two external hard drives today. Other than their decent looks, they are dreadfully unimpressive with USB 2.0 ports and some data-protection software with 256-bit Blowfish-level encryption. They are, however, cheap: The GigaBank 250GB is $149.99 and $179.99 for the GigaBank 320GB.
