From what it looks like physically, the drives should be removable and transferrable, but that doesn't make sense from a logistical standpoint – unless you have eight logical drives mounted on your OS as well. In any case, the REV 560 is 7-inches tall and 5-inches wide, and each disk comes with a 5 year warranty, and the device itself comes with a 3 year warranty.
You can grab one for $1,799, which is a lot compared to say, a standard external hard drive using SATA or IDE.
