Not only is this Helios player thin, light, and cheap at only $169, it can upscale to 1080p using HDMI and component, or 1080i using projectors (VGA). If watching your Se7en DVDs in high definition wasn’t enough to get you going, how about being able to play back DivX, XviD, MPEG1, MPEG, MPEG4, SVCD, VCD and HDCDs all from any disc you throw in there?

It’s also NTSC and PAL compatible, so everyone in the world can get in on it. This player really sounds like a winner for $169 when it’s available October 17.
