Thanks to Edd Dumbill for letting me know that there is life beyond London and that the next Manchester GeekUp which is run by Andrew Disley is taking place on October 10th, starting at 6:00pm until 11:00pm, at the B lounge, Piccadilly, Manchester.
GeekUp is a growing community of web designers, web developers, and other web-minded folk from the North West who meetup monthly in Manchester to discuss the latest industry news, share ideas and spread a little knowledge. GeekUp is free to attend, all they ask is you buy your own food and drinks.
Update: Also note there is the Manchester Geek Dinner’s which recently met in September. I am in the process of organising a TechCrunch Roadshow in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and NewCastle sometime in November. Any help, support or advice greatly received.
