I don’t know why it took this product three years to see the light of day, but it’s brilliant. Parrot has released its its Bluetooth speakerphone MINIKIT device. It’s not just some flimsy piece of crap, either. It has a 2-watt speaker that pumps out HD sound, DSP2 signal processing and voice recognition. This is a truly hands-free device, which begs the question: how come there aren’t more of these things? After seeing half of America buy one of those stupid-looking Bluetooth headsets, I thought we’d see the same rush for this type of device, too. Hopefully we won’t see people walking around talking on them though. That’d be bad.
